13 dead bodies spotted on the third day in the aftermath of cyclone Titli in Odisha
As many as 13 dead bodies were spotted on the third day in the aftermath of cyclonic storm Titli that raged havoc in Odisha on 11th October. More bodies are expected to be found as 16 persons were missing following a massive landslide on the hilltop at Baraghar village in Rayagada block of Gajapati district in Odisha.

Notably, the state government of Odisha had declared 'Zero Casualty' on the day of cyclone Titli on October that affected a few districts of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh.

On the day two, local people of Baraghar village on the hilltop located in the Mahendragada mountain range in the Gajapati district of Odisha spotted as many as 13 dead bodies scattered along the stream flowing downhill. The people including the Sarpanch of the Gram Panchayat informed the administration but none of the officials responded. Sorry state of affairs is that the district administration had not reached at the spot till afternoon of 13th October.

After getting information, media persons reached at the spot and only then the local administration showed some concern and were seen rushing towards the spot on 13th afternoon.

But keeping in view of the inaccessibility owing to the ravaged roads, it seems impossible to collect the dead bodies from the spot without the help of army. It seems helicopter is the only option to reach at the spot and collect the bodies from the scattered along the stream ranging around 10 kilometres.
