It is said that the the fire might have triggered by a household stove in the early hours, when it came in contact with the leaked gas cloud which has been already formed and was settled in the area.
The accident has caused a huge property loss, as several coconut fields, residential buildings and shops have been charred in the flames. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu has ordered probe into the GAIL pipeline leak accident, and has canceled his trip to national capital and rushed to the accident site.
In a tweet, Naidu offered his condolences to the family of those who lost their lives in the accident.
