14 killed in GAIL pipeline blast in Andhra Pradesh
Fourteen people have died and 7 others got injured after a blast occurred in gas pipeline belonging to Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) in Andhra Pradesh's East Godavari district, on today morning.

According to the latest reports coming in, the administration has recovered 13 bodies from the accident site, the injured are being treated in the hospital and the fire has been brought into control.

The incident took place at 4:00 in the morning at Nagaram village in Mamidikuduru mandal of East Godavari district. The 18-inch pipeline with 70-80 kg psi is 200 feet away from the ONGC gas collecting station Tatipaka. 

It is said that the the fire might have triggered by a household stove in the early hours, when it came in contact with the leaked gas cloud which has been already formed and was settled in the area.

The accident has caused a huge property loss, as several coconut fields, residential buildings and shops have been charred in the flames. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu has ordered probe into the GAIL pipeline leak accident, and has canceled his trip to national capital and rushed to the accident site.

In a tweet, Naidu offered his condolences to the family of those who lost their lives in the accident.

Prime minister Narendra Modi has also expressed grief over the accident.
