19-year old teacher gangraped in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh
Days after the horrific Bulandshahar gangrape case in broad day light, a 19-year old teacher was kidnapped and allegedly raped at gunpoint in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh by three men.

According to the woman's statement to the police, the incident took place around 7 am on Tuesday when she was walking towards her school. A car stopped and three men pulled her inside the car and allegedly raped her in the moving car.

The men later dumped her in a field near the Bareilly-Delhi highway. She also told the police that while two of the men raped her at gunpoint, the third clicked photographs of the act and threatened to upload them on the internet if she reported the incident.

"She was going to the school in the morning. The three men, who had their faces covered, pulled her inside the van and gang-raped her. They also filmed the whole incident," victim's relative told reporters.

Along with forensic teams, senior police officers including Inspector General VS Meena, Deputy Inspector General Ashutosh Kumar and Senior Superintendent of Police RK Bhardwaj reached the spot to investigate the case. Though they are yet to make any arrests, the police officer in charge of the area, Rajesh Singh, has been suspended.

"Today at around 5:30 pm, the victim came to the police station and said that three men came in a Maruti van and kidnapped her. They then gang-raped her and also filmed the incident. The police got the information in the evening and registered an FIR. All senior officers have visited the site of crime," VS Meena told the media.
