2010 is the year of floods?
The year 2010, has seen one of the worst rains and floods globally which was never witnessed before. We have not seen so much of rains and floods in the past and this has not happened only in India alone, it was witnessed globally.
THE YEAR 2010 could be the wettest year of the century. We have not seen so much of rains and floods in the past and this has not happened only in India alone, it was witnessed globally.
It is not that just India is affected by the rains and flooding, Egypt, China, North Korea, Pakistan, Portugal, Poland, Hungary, Austria, Germany, Slovakia ,Serbia, Ukraine, Latvia have seen heavy rains ,devastating floods which has cost many lives and caused destruction.

In Pakistan, many lives were lost in this year’s worst flooding which has affected a large area and thousands of people. Swat Valley saw more then 900,000 people displaced, rice, sugarcane, tobacco, wheat crops destroyed, and shops, roads, bridge and schools- all washed away. People are in urgent need of food and shelter before the extreme winter hits them.

In North Korea, due to the heavy rains mudslides took place affecting the roads, schools, crops and homes all got buried, urgent food and medical supplies are needed here.

In China the worst flooding in decades has cost many lives, destruction of crops and infrastructure may slow down the country’s economy.

India has never seen so much of rain like the one this year affecting so many states and all at the same time. Wherever I travelled this time all were witnessing the unusual devastating rains.

The crops have been destroyed; houses were washed away; the unusual cloud burst in Leh province was never witnessed in that region. In Delhi, the Yamuna River which almost dried long time back was flooded, displacing the people and destroying the crops.

In India, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh all have seen heavy rains and flooding. Emergencies were sounded, people were evacuated and rebuilding has started. Many lives lost, houses washed away, roads, electricity, telephone, infrastructure, crops, farm lands, all washed away affecting the population in these areas who was struggling for food, shelter and health as diseases started spreading.

It is such a big challenge for the country amidst the preparations to host the Commonwealth Games 2010.

In Europe, this time the rains were really devastating, it was never seen before. It looks like this is the year of the worst floods of this century.

Austria, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Latvia, Ukraine, Slovakia all were flooded. Many lives were lost, houses destroyed, crops destroyed in mudslides. Europe is struggling with a financial crisis and this is another big blow to their efforts to come out of the crisis.

Australia, which most of the times remains dry, saw very unusual rains in Victoria resulting in to floods and lives were lost.

Mexico, Canada and the United States of America all witnessed heavy rains, floods and mudslides this year.

So, it will not be an exaggeration to say that 2010 was the year of floods in this century. Why this is happening? Is it due to ‘climate change’? How to stop this from happening? Why poor have to suffer so much? Why the governments have to struggle with this sort of problems? Is it because of our behaviour? Yes, the Human behaviour! Lack of trees, old irrigation systems, over population, pollutions are trigging the climate change and for this we all are responsible. We need to wake up now and do something to avoid this from happening in the coming future.

Dear Sirs, I concern myself with rendering assistance in search for partners and investor to develop a STOL light two-seater (pilot + passenger) airplane aimed to rescue people in areas of natural calamity such as cloud bursts, or rain snowders heavy falling snows, fluidics, i.e. when help is not applicable or cannot be provided by other means. The airplane is designed as an amphibious vehicle capable of alighting on water, hard soil, marsh, sand or snow. Take-off and landing are carried on float-skies combined with a wheel-landing gear or without it. Landing gear retraction and extension is carried from cabin on the ground or on the water. The floats and bogies have common attachment points with non-rigid suspension, and the nose float has a wheel and a ski-control surface. At heavy precipitation or wind as well as at night time, when flight is impossible, the design assumes a ground /water run without the wing (at wind velocity up to 35 m/s and 25 m/s, correspondingly). The main function of such airplanes is to operate without the wing in the mode of cutter, snowplane, increased rough-field capacity vehicle. They can operate in populated localities and on water basins in distant areas, at nonflying weather and nonavailability of roads, in places where heavy machinery is not applicable (fast stream, rice fields, etc.). To carry out the above volume of work I have to find interim financing. The development known to you runs on my own till now. Therein lies the complexity of further development: search for large capitals and on long-term conditions. I consider it a right way to carry out a series of work already accepted in the design offices of aviation industry. By the results of each stage of the development it would be possible to take decisions on the beginning of a following stages. To consider the airplane design stages and its features in details is possible by mob. telephone: 7-909-933-04-38 Savchenkov Ilyia. 7/1 - 30 Vokzalny lane 127299 MOSCOW RUSSIA.
