But Mansell hit the security barrier before he reached the Indianapolis turn. He was conscious in the car for several minutes and then was evacuated in an ambulance. Before the race started he reportedly said that the goal is to finish and get more competitive and the biggest goal is to attract a sponsor so that they continue their dream.
