The prestigious event will be held in Gurgaon and preparation for the same is going on. Everyone is gearing up for the occasion.

THIS TIME the 25th Haryana State Sports festival is to be celebrated in Gurgaon from October 20- October 23. Around 7000 players are supposed to be participating in these state level games. Apart from the players the officials would participate in equal measure. PC Meena who is also the president of the District Olympic Association told district sports officials and representatives of various sports associations gave the number of the events to be 31. The venue of the event has been finalized and after the inspection a clean chit would be given to the event.

For now the venue has to be inspected reported The Times of India, and for that Meena has asked the convenor to have a look at the venue and see to it that everything is fine. If any shortcomings are noticed then it can be removed in time to make this sports event a success. She also clarified the importance of discovery of the short comings now as in the last moment the removal of the difficulties would not be possible. Everyone in Gurgaon is trying to make the gaming event a good experience for the athletes. The inspection of the frounds would happen on Wednesday. There are 10 venues for games events with three places where the participants would stay. Athletics, archery, basketball, judo, karate, handball, taekwondo, volley ball, wrestling and wushu are games that would happen in the gaming arena. Only one event of roller skating will be held at the sports complex in Sector-12, Faridabad, away from Gurgaon.
