5 lakh Delhi-ites say 'no' to inflated bijli-pani bills
Over five lakh people in Delhi have vowed not to pay the inflated bijli-pani bills, as Arvind Kejriwal's upwas enters the eighth day. The per day figure has continuously increased during the last week. Yesterday itself, i.e. March 29th, 136234 people expressed their solidarity for the Civil Disobedience movement launched by Aam Aadmi Party, touching a total figure of 5,11,274 in the past 7 days.

On March 29 people living in North West Delhi showed the maximum support, followed by North East Delhi - in both these areas more than 25,000 people pledged not to pay their bills in a single day. Next in line are South Delhi and West Delhi, where more than 20,000 people in a single day have signed protest letters to Shiela Dikshit.

The movement yesterday received a boost when Anna Hazare visited the fasting venue to meet Arvind Kejriwal and his family late in the night. While enroute to Amritsar, Anna visited Sunder Nagri. Addressing the crowds he said, "Raste alag hai, magar manzil ek hi hai." (Their paths might be different but the goal is the same). He said, Arvind Kejriwal is fighting for the poor people and expressed his concern over inflated bill. He said, “Arvind apne liye kya maang raha hai? Jo garib logo par anyay ho raha hai isko sarkar ko dekhna chahiye. Ek garib aadmi ka 3-4 hazar bill aa gaya to kaha se bharega?” He also said that whenever required he would come together to fight for the country.

Meanwhile, despite weakness, Arvind Kejriwal's health parameters are within normal range. His Blood Pressure is 110/70, pulse is 70, weight is 59 and Ketone is 3+. His sugar report is awaited.

Today evening, the Patiala Court is expected to give its order on breach of Section 144 case filed against Arvind Kejriwal, Prashant Bhushan, Kumar Vishwas and Manish Sisodia at 4pm today.
