The sacrifices of great martyrs who brought freedom to us can never be forgotten and our coming generations cannot repay their value, said Sharanjit Singh Dhillon, Punjab's PWD Minister while addressing a audience, at a function organised at Dhudhike the birth place of Punjab Kesari Lala Lajpat Rai on his 59th birth anniversary celebrations and sports fair of Gadhri Baba.
Dhillon said, the communities who remember its martyrs are always alive. He said, the youths have been honored by getting recognition of Kabaddi game at the world level and big initiative have been taken to keep the youths away from drugs.
Later on while talking to the media persons, Dhillon said, the Akali-BJP government is committed to extend all types of facilities to the people of the state and no stone will be left unturned for the over-all development of the state.
He said, the entire roads in the state would be repaired by 31st May with an investment of Rs.1700 crore and by putting the pre-mix, the roads will give a look like new one. He also said, the efforts are also being made to improve the condition of building of the schools.
Dhillon also announced a grant of Rs.5 lakh for the development of village Dhudike.
