60-year-old man stabs wife to death in South Delhi
A man stabbed his wife, who was a former Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) counsellor, to death in their car over a fight on Wednesday at Delhi's Anand Niketan.
As per reports, the accused Mukesh Monga who was heavily drunk at the time of incident, stabbed his wife Manju Monga with a blunt knife in her chest, throat and eyes.

He stabbed her nine times in total. Meanwhile, a security guard who witnessed the gruesome incident threw stone over the car in order to stop him. However, the accused managed to escape from the place along with his wife.

The security guard then alerted the police about the incident and cops arrested Mukesh and admitted Manju to the AIIMS trauma center where she was pronounced dead.

During the investigation Mukesh told that he suspected Manju of infidelity as she received calls from her clients and an NGO with which she was currently associated. He has been booked under section 302 IPC (murder) and a detailed probe into his antecedents is being conducted.

Nupur Prasad, additional DCP south said, "Prima facie investigations suggest that there was some planning involved in the murder."

According to the security guard, Raj Kumar, who is the only eye-witness of the incident, Mukesh parked the car and started arguing with Manju. He went to enquire as it took more than usual time for Manju to get off.

"When I stood beside the car, Monga suddenly started hitting Manju and grabbed her by her hair," said Kumar.
