65-year-old man dies after Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia's car hits his two wheeler
A 65-year-old man died after being hit by Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia's car near Alapuzzha in Kerala on Wednesday.

The news was confirmed by Scindia himself, who expressed deep sorrow and grief over the incident and said that he would meet the bereaved family.

According to media reports, the deceased, identified as Sasi, was a resident of Puthiyakavu locality. The incident took place when the two-wheeler on which Sasi was riding on collided with Scindia's car. Though Sasi was rushed to a nearby hospital in Cherthala but he could not survive, while Scindia escaped unhurt.

The three-time Member of Parliament from Guna, Madhya Pradesh, Scindia was travelling in a chauffeur-driven car from Kochi to Alappuzha on the national highway. He was going to attend an award ceremony at Cherthala.

KC Venugopal, Congress MP from Alappuzha, said that after the accident Scindia handed over the car to the police and left in another car.
