A book on Investigative Journalism and its triumphs 'Tell Me No Lies'
Can anybody think of a news story without investigation? It seems to be incomplete. People are eager to know what has happened in cases like murder, robbery, wartime and scandals. It is often seen that investigative stories are more interesting and attention seeking as it is pure and real.

A book on Investigative Journalism and its triumphs 'Tell Me No Lies' by John Pilger has the outstanding collection of investigative stories for revealing hidden and true facts. The book has covered all investigative stories from some of the best reporters like Wilfred Bruchett, Martha Gellhorn, Amira Hass, James Cameron and Phillip Knightley who bravely covered tough situtation.

Around 30 selected stories on various investigative research along with experiences of journalists. The story of Atomic Plauge in Hiroshima (1945) was brilliantly covered by Wilfred Bruchett.

Pilger has made an effort to introduce the readers about the Thalidomide Scandal, covered by Phillip Knightly. This story is not known to everybody and one cannot resist himself in reading it.

A separate section in the book is available with the pictures of the reporters along with their work experience. An incredible reporting done by Isareli correspondent Amira Hass on Isareli-Palestinian conflict in 1990s.

The description of life at time is so detailed and painful that it will touch the heart of the readers.

Simple English language is used which is reader friendly. However, the price of the book is bit high, not suitable for everyone's pocket.

The book is meant for journalism students and media professionals to know the vintage investigative stories hidden in the world. It has made an effort to aware the people about something to describe beyond the imagination of mankind.

The book will definitely encourage the new generation and budding journalists to build up their career in this field.
