A book that talks of 21.12.2012 and survival of mankind
The book '5 to 12 - The Survival of Mankind: A Training Manual for 2012 and Beyond' does not consider the end of Mayan calendar as the end of the world but as beginning of a new phase of the story of mankind. The book discusses both the Darwin's evolution concept and the cultural evolution of mankind.

AUTHORED BY Frank Ludwig, the book along with discussing the Egyptian and Mayan civilizations dwells upon challenges of the modern western cultures such as Peter-Pan syndrome, materialism, capitalism, religious dogmatism, and nihilism.

While underlining the common mythical story in legend of many ancient cultures, this 138-page book says that the ‘man was created out of the dust of the planet Earth and some divine essence’.

According to the author of the book, the problems arise from the belief system of the humankind in modern times and fast life. The author suggests that in the modern age people should work on their minds and heal the abyss they have got into - due to materialism. Human beings need to strategize to avoid the materialistic abyss. The author’s catch phrase ‘small is beautiful and autonomous survives’ is worthy of attention and contemplation.

The book lives up to its claim that it ‘describes the chances and the major hindrances concerning the survival and ascension of mankind in the years around the date of the 21.12.2012’. It is a spiritual and esoteric guidebook that aims to help mankind to survive the shift of the ages from the age of the pisces to the age of Aquarius successfully. It is your preferred guidebook when you are on the edge of the abyss.’
