A message children can send to their parents on corruption
A big thanks goes to Shri Anna Hazare, Ms Kiran Bedi, and all the others who successfully raised the issue of corruption prevailing in the society. Perhaps a powerful way to reduce corruption in the country would be for children, many of whom who have watched the anti-corruption movement unfold in India, to ask their parents to desist from corruption.

RECENTLY, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, former President of India, while delivering a lecture titled, "What science can give you",  highlighted that "Charity begins from home", and asked students that they should insist their parents not to indulge in corruption.

Perhaps, as a nice step, children should request their parents to ensure that they pay their taxes correctly to the Government. The tax could be in any manner, income tax, wealth tax, capital gains tax, and so on. Parents can set a good example before their children by telling them that they have succeeded in paying the exact tax to the Government, and therefore they feel happy as citizens.

Such statements coming from the parents community will make a strong impact on their children to be righteous citizens in so many ways.  The confidence level of a parent (guardian) will go up substantially if they chose to pay their taxes appropriately. Children can also feel happy that their parents do take pride in paying their taxes correctly to the Government. Information Technology should be made widespread to ensure that as much as possible taxes are deducted at source automatically.

It is assumed that parents who pay their taxes correctly to the Government will be able to conduct their affairs in an most apporipriate manner faciliting the law makers and law enforcers to carry on their jobs satisfactorily all aiming to see the society and community moving forward on a happy note.

The author very rightly said that the charity begins at home. Children should be taught about the bad impacts of corruption.
