A message to all children
Life is unpredictable. One can be fortunate at times and at others face mishaps. Nobody knows how long one will live. So there's only thing to do - live in the present by being alert and live life with grace with as less regret as possible.
DEATH, WITHOUT fail, will come sooner or later to all and in no way can be avoided. So some words are better said early. I say the following things only as a father since no one else is going to tell you. My thoughts are based my own personal experience and perhaps may save you a lot of unnecessary heartache and problems. Remember the following as you live your life:
Those who are good to you, be thankful but you have to be cautious because everyone has a motive behind a move. When a person is good to you it does not mean that in reality he really likes you. You have to be careful, don't hastily regard him as a real friend. He or she may betray you at some point.
No one is indispensable in this Universe. There is hardly anything that you must possess. Once you understand this idea, it would be easier for you to lead your life smoothly, peacefully, happily and gracefully.
At times people around you don't want you anymore, or when you lose that you love the most. Take it easy, it happens.
Life is very short. When you waste your life today, it means life is leaving you. The earlier you treasure your life, the better you enjoy.
Love is but a transient feeling and this feeling would fade with time and with one's mood. In case your so-called loved one leave you, be patient, time will wash away your aches and sadness. Don't over exaggerate for nothing.
A lot of successful people did not receive a good education but it does not mean that you can be successful by not studying hard! Whatever knowledge you gained is your weapon and asset in life. A person can go from rags to riches but he has to start from a rag only. If you want to be rich, you have to work hard. There is no free lunch or dinner.
Parents don't expect children to financially support them nor do they want to continue to support their children their whole life. A father's primary responsibility was role was achieved when a child grew up as an adult. From that point onwards it's the child that needs to decide whether it wants to travel, avail public transport or drive in a Mercedes Benz.
You can be good to people but don't expect people to be good to you otherwise it may end up with unnecessary troubles.
No matter how much time you have let's treasure the time we have together. We do not know if we would meet again in our next life.
