A quick look at features and specifications of newly launched Samsung Galaxy Tab S2
Samsung, an electronic giant from S. Korea recently launched its flagship 9.7-inch tablet - Galaxy Tab S2. Priced at Rs. 42,000, the new device is redesigned and an upgraded version of Galaxy Tab S 10.5. Let's find more about features and specifications of this newly launched tab here:

Plus points of Samsung Galaxy Tab S2:

The tablet is thinner and lighter than its predecessor. As a result, it is quite comfortable to hold in hand for hours.

  • The display looks quite classy and superior at a reasonable price. A technology called active matrix organic LED is used that let each pixel in the display to shine on its own. Thus, no back light is required. The screen can be comfortably used outdoors even in direct sunlight.

  • With the density of 264 pixels per inch (ppi) in the tab, the company has fairly kept its competitor in mind. The iPad Air 2 has near to same ppi, while the Microsoft Surface 3 ensures 213 pixel density.

  • The tablet ensures 4:3 aspect ratio instead of 16:10 that was available in the Tab 10 S, 10.5. It makes the display squarer that is said to be desirable for productivity like reading.

  • The new tablet is believed to have greater performance. It looks sturdy and compact with its metal rims and upper glass body.

  • The makers has also added a feature to run two applications simultaneously.

  • S2's rear camera does a good job while the front camera is decent for video calls or conferencing.

  • The tablet comes with 4G LTE-support. It sports a fingerprint sensor and ensures good battery backup.

  • Some negative points:

    • The screen size has been made smaller from 10.5-inch to 9.7-inch. While a squarer display is good for productivity, watching video on the 16:10 display, indeed gives better experience.

    • The rear camera is not so good at performance when it comes to moving objects. Besides, there's no flash.

    • With the plastic rear, the build quality appears to have taken a hit.
