When Begum Para left for Pakistan this man purchased the poultry farm of Nasir Khan & Begum Parah. Named Allied Poultries, it evolved new market trends in doing the poultry business in Bombay. He developed the famous marketing company Panama Marketing.

He founded Monginis Bakery which is now one of the biggest bakeries in India. Taherbhai founded Wockhardt Pharmacuticals, a national company which has purchased several international Pharmas and blended them into Wockhardt. No Indian origin company has done the research work on basic and fundamental drugs as Wockhardt has done.

He also founded Monginis Shipping Company with the boat M.V. Al Hussenie. He also established Wockhardt Digonstic Centres which are counted among the best hospitals in the world. Tahirbhai founded SWITZ Inernational, a food processing company in the Middle East. He founded Akbarllays Furniture, a famous cutting edge Art Furniture manufacturing unit. He is also the founder of Akbarallys shirtings that graduated into Double Bull.

He developed unique and largest orchards of Indian and Exotic flora in Bhivandi, Maharashtra. He started the production of GAJRA, a film with famous director M. Sadiq but had to shelve the project half way as Sadiq left for Pakistan. Last but not the least; he accepted the challenge to swim the English Channel at the age of 78.
