Aamir Khan: A chocolate hero who became Mr Perfectionist
Not only the 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak' movie, but Aamir Khan, who became an instant heartthrob with the film, is also completing his 25 years in the industry. From a chocolate boy to a perfectionist, the journey for Aamir Khan has been memorable and it is going good and strong.

Now, the audience expects all his films to be out of the box, entertaining and with a moral at the end. He is associated with films like Dil Chahta Hai, Rang De Basanti, 3 Idiots and Ghajini- all these films were a treat to the eye, had strong scripts and Khan in all of them excelled as the person he was playing.

‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (QSQT)’ came at a time when everyone was into action films with happy endings but this film starring two young actors - Khan and Juhi Chawla changed the trend. After the huge success of his first film, Khan heralded the era of good love stories. His ‘Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin’, ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar’ and ‘Hum Hain Rahin Pyaar Ke’, did not match QSQT's success but they were very successful in their own rights.

He tried his hands for the first time in comedy with Andaaz Apna Apna and everyone agreed that the actor can tickle the funny bone. After this, Raja Hindustani, Rangeela and Ishq again showed that he was the ultimate romantic hero of Bollywood. With Sarfarosh, Khan showed another side of his character- the intense, no nonsense police man, which was hugely popular among the girls.

Although he had a steady rise in his career and he chose his films intelligently but Earth and Mela were two flops of his career. Mela was a huge disappointment for the audience but Earth got critical acclaim. Not to brood long on his failure, he got up and signed Lagaan. Everyone knows that Lagaan made Bollywood history and represented India in the Oscars.

His choice of films went from being very good to perfect after Lagaan and we got Rang De Basanti, Tare Zameen Par, Fanaa and 3 Idiots. If previously, he was taking care of his acting skills and working on it rigorously, now he was looking over every aspect of his films. This, at times, drove his director to madness but the end product was always a near perfect film. Everyone says that he is the most bankable actor and if he is taking up a project, then it is bound to do well. It has been a long time since Khan had a flop and his fans wish that it remains that way.
