Nicknamed as the perfectionist this Khan doesn't play as per anyone else's rules than his own. But this time round it seems that he has met his match in Reema Kagti who did not easily give up the fight against the actor.
AAMIR KHAN may be a saint for many, as he had the guts to make public many loopholes in Indian society through the serial Satyameva Jayate, but the people who he works with don't see him in that light. For them, he is a tyrannical, eccentric actor who doesn't take orders and does not allow anyone else's creativity take over his own decision. Although, Reema Kagti is not saying the exact same words but there are whispers in B town about several fallouts between the director of Khan's upcoming movie Taalash and the perfectionist himself.
The first trailer of the film Taalash was not approved by the actor and he made a completely different trailer the next time round and once again got his way, reported The Times of India. Reema Kagti, the director, who has a mind of her own, did not like the way the actor was behaving and reportedly walked out of a meeting from his place. However, many disagreements later, she had to concede, and the current trailer that has come out has Aamir Khan
written all over it.
But an actor, who made it to Time's cover is worshiped in many parts of India, and to think that he would go to this length just so that he has more screen space in a film trailer doesn't seem right. But who can say how the human mind works?! However, when asked about it, Kagti being the true professional did not let the cat out of the bag, and said that since the first trailer did not project enough suspense, it had to be changed. Though she did mention that Aamir took a lot of interest in the trailer but spoiled the fun for the gossip mongers when she added that "but so has everybody else."
Farhan Akhtar, the producer of the film had to play peacemaker many times bwteen two strong-headed people. This is not new of Aamir Khan, as he has been known in the past to try and enforce his vision and creativity on other directors such as Amol Gupte
, Anusha Rizvi and even Ram Gopal Varma
