Aamir Khan doesn't want to enter politics
There are a number of Bollywood celebrities turned politicians such as Hema Malini, Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachhan, Shatrughan Sinha, Jaya Prada etc, but Aamir Khan is someone who does not want to enter politics. The heart throb of many, Aamir Khan in a recent event stated that there is no need for him to join politics to bring change in a society along with nation building.

''I have no intention to enter politics. I want to use the medium of film-making and entertainment to contribute to the society and nation-building,” said Aamir, reported bollywoodlife.com. ''Every person should be politically conscious and at least have a basic understanding of social issues because only then they will we be able to make the informed choices. So, yes, I am a political person according to that. But I have no interest in politics.''

Aamir Khan is known to have worked towards the betterment of India, which is also reflected through his hit TV show 'Satyamev Jayatey,' presenting startling facts about social issues like dowry. Apart from the TV show, in his directorial debut 'Taree Zameen Par', he raised an important issue of as dyslexia, which touched millions of hearts worldwide.

Aamir Khan is presently very busy with one of his most awaited movie release of the year, 'Dhoom 3,' which is set to hit the screen, year-end. Apart from this, the actor is also getting ready for his second season of Satyamev Jayate, which was a grand success in its debut season.
