Sheila Dikshit's 15 years reign in Delhi was brought to an end by AAP in the recently conducted assembly polls. Extending her wishes to the AAP so that they can meet the promises made to the people of Delhi following their decision to form the next government, former CM Sheila Dikshit on Monday reminded the AAP that the Congress' support to them was not unconditional.
She said that what matters now is the poll promises that AAP has made. She stated that AAP policies are not exemplary and said it was impossible to fulfil the promises made. She said that the Congress was supporting AAP only for its policies, the only thing that was the basis to have a common ground to give relief to the public of Delhi.
She also said that, “As far as feasibility, economy and running the government is concerned, there is no money making machine for that. It depends on how you plan the budget and spend the money. Now, they have made promises, it is their duty to fulfill their promises.”
There are also speculations, which suggest that Congress will take its support back, once the 2014 Lok Sabha elections are over. AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal has announced that the party has decided to form the government . Out of 280 Jan Sabha's conducted by the party in 257 sabhas, people wanted the party to form the government in Delhi, reported ANI.
