In a tragic incident, a AC bus traveling from Davangere in Karnataka to Banglore caught fire, in the wee hours today at Hiriyur town in Chitradurga district. In this accident, six people were burnt to death. The sleeper AC bus had 29 people on board. Many people have also injured in the accident and were hospitalised.
to police, the tragedy occurred around 3 am in the morning. The bus
suddenly caught fire and fell into a ditch on NH 4. Officials are
saying that the fire was caused due to leak in the diesel fuel tank
of the bus.
