ACER INDIA has launched a new smartphone ‘Liquid’ for the Indian mobile customers. Acer's Liquid is the world’s first Android 1.6 high definition phone and also the first Qualcomm Snapdragon processor-based mobile phone. The touch screen Acer Liquid price is Rs 24,900 in the Indian market. ‘Liquid’ is a high definition phone with lots of new features and software.

2G and 3G enabled Liquid is TFT capacitive touchscreen with 256K colors. Display size is 480 x 800 pixels, 3.5 inches with Acer UI 3.0, also have accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate and proximity sensor for auto turn-off. Dimension of Acer's Liquid is 115 x 62.5 x 12.5 mm and the weight is of 135 g.

Liquid has 5 MP video camera phone with 2560?1920 pixels, auto focus and LED flash for best picture quality. User's can send SMS, MMS, Email, Instant Messaging through this Java enabled smartphone. Other features of this phone include games, HTML browser and GPS support. Acer's Liquid is available in Black, White, Red colors.

It also provides better connectivity to Bluetooth, Wifi, GPRS and 3G technologies. Internal memory is 256MB RAM, 512MB ROM and expandable memory with micro SD upto 32 GB. Acer is planning to launch 10 new smartphones in India to become one of the top 5 players in the smartphone segment in India within three years.
