Ae Dil Hai Mushkil screening: Anushka, Ranbir play perfect hosts while Aishwarya decides to give it a miss
After a long period of turmoil and anxious moments, the team of ADHM rejoiced as the film will finally be able to see the light of the day on it's release date, 28th October.

The star cast of the film looked in a jovial mood at the special screening of the film which was attended by several A-listers of Bollywood. The celebrities in attendance included names like Arjun Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Karishma Kapoor, Neha Dhupia, Sidharth Malhotra and Gul Panag.

The guests dressed in their perfect attires drooled over Karan Johar's romantic drama at a Mumbai theatre.

The lead pair, Anushka Shrama and Ranbir Kapoor played perfect hosts for the evening, welcoming the arriving celebrities with a wide smile. However, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's absence was greatly felt at the event.

Clouds of uncertainty had been looming large over Ae Dil Hai Mushkil as Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) had threatened to ban the film from screening because it stars Pakistani actor Fawad Khan.

There were also rumours that Karan Johar was considering the removal of scenes featuring Fawad Khan from the film and re-shooting them with some other actor. Later, Bollywood gossip mill went into overdrive with reports that Fawad Khan's face might be replaced with actor Saif Ali Khan's face through CGI. But all these proved to mere rumours.

After much controversy and appeals from the producer Karan Johar to pave way for the film's release, finally MNS leader Raj Thackeray yielded and now the movie shall be releasing on its initial scheduled date. ADHM will clash with Ajay Devgn's Shivaay at the box office this coming Friday.
