AERO signs an MoU with Vector for CAD/CAM training
Aeronautical Engineering and Research Organisation has signed a MoU with Vector Technologies to conduct training on various software platforms. The programme will enhance the employability of mechanical and aeronautical engineering graduates

AERONAUTICAL ENGINEERING and Research Organisation (AERO) under the flagship of Indian Institute of Aeronautical Engineering (IIAEIT) has signed a memorandum of understanding recently with Vector Technologies in order to conduct training on Catia, Pro-E, Solid Edge and Unigraphics.

The training will be conducted in three different locations - Nal stop, Karvenagar and Warje would include an immense usage in enhancing the employability of mechanical and aeronautical engineering graduates. The training programme duration is for four months for each of the software package.

The training is so structured that it would take a student gradually from machine drawing level to the design of complex machines.

In addition, the theoretical training on latest configuration computers in the most conducive ambiance will also be covered in a modern machine tool factory.

This course will fulfill the long-standing requirement of the design engineers needed for our growing industry.

IIAEIT is providing Vector Technologies with infrastructure, software and hardware and Vector technologies in turn will help the institute by recruiting, training and acquainting their students with the industry functioning.

The staff of Vector Technologies go a long way with IIAEIT as they are all pass-outs from IIAEIT and require support from the institute in order to grow as an organisation.

Air commanderRaghubir Singh (retd),director (training), said“Most of the students get exposure in the industry, such as research and design organizations and various airlines. Such experience pays rich dividends in terms of placement.”

Vinay Bakhale, managing director of Vector Technology said,“We are very happy to have this deal with the IIAEIT, this will help us to grow and at the same time promote good talent in our organisation.”

About IIAEIT

IIAEIT is a pioneer frontline training institute in the field of aeronautical and other engineering disciplines. With an excellent faculty, backed by well-equipped laboratories, the institute is considered as the one of the best in this part of the country.
