Instead of perusing the issues of corruption and black money head on, it seems that political parties are trying to dilute the real problems by concentrating on shoe-hurtling, face-slapping and face-blackening. The latest incident is the defiling of Sonia Gandhi's poster with black ink.
ON THE heels of blackening the face of Baba Ramdev, the crusader against corruption and black money, it was the turn of blackening Sonia's poster at the Congress party headquarters in New Delhi. Two men have been taken into custody for the incident, which turned ugly due to thrashing of the miscreants by the Congress supporters.

It's been reported that 20 odd sympathizers of Baba Ramdev gathered at the Congress Headquarters in New Delhi on Monday evening and started shouting slogans in favour of Ramdev and against Sonia. Later, they splashed black ink on the poster of Sonia.
The incident enraged the Congress workers, sitting inside the premises of the Congress headquarters. They rushed out and thrashed the protesters. Two miscreants, identified as Narendra and Tribhuwan of Delhi have been arrested by the police.
Baba Ramdev while condemning the incident said, "Such undemocratic and uncivilized methods of protest should not be encouraged. Such acts have no place in our rich culture and philosophy,"
