After stripping on-board a flight, man harasses cabin crew
A passenger was deboarded from a flight after he reportedly stripped himself in the lavatory of the aircraft and then asked the air hostesses to help him out.

The incident took place on a Bhubaneswar-Delhi flight. The passenger had sought assistance in tying the seat-belt and later went to the lavatory and asked for assistance from inside the lavatory.

According to a statement issued by the airline, "The passenger then went to the lavatory where he pressed the lavatory call bell requesting assistance in the aircraft lavatory. The crew immediately went to the lavatory to help him but saw him in an objectionable state. The female crew member refused to go inside and politely requested him to maintain some level of decency while using the lavatory."

Later, while the crew were securing passengers for landing, the passenger passed derogatory remarks to the female crew member who informed the captain.

After the captain alerted security agencies in Delhi, the passenger was off-loaded after landing and handed over to the police. The police have lodged an FIR in the matter and are now investigating the matter.

Cases of unruly passengers have been increasing worldwide. As per a recent figure by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), in 2015, airlines across the world have reported 10,854 cases of unruly passenger incidents onboard aircraft in 2015. This figure is an increase from the 9,316 incidents reported in 2014.
