AIHRA executive body members meet Member, J&K Human Rights Commission
Executive body members of All India Human Rights Association (AIHRA), Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday met Jang Bahadur Singh Jamwal, District and Session Judge (Retired), Member, Jammu and Kashmir State Human Rights Commission (SHRC), here.

They discussed with him the steps the association would be taking towards handling human rights situation and awareness of common people.

They appealed to Jang Bhadur to settle the matters of human rights violations that have come before the Commission in accordance with law as soon as possible.

They also said the association is going to start awareness campaign on 'human rights violation' in large scale in Jammu and Kashmir State on Human Rights Day which is being observed on 10th December, 2016.

"Disrespect for basic human rights continues to be wide-spread in all parts of the State. We can take a stand for rights and together, we can take a stand for more humanity," they said.

Jang Bahadur Singh Jamwal assured the association members that the Commission would extend full support in their future endeavour to make it successful.
