Students are always confused about their careers and choosing up jobs. To discuss these issues, students of Asian Institute of Management and science organised a day-long seminar on 'career options after MBA' on October 16 in its campus.
TO DISCUSS the challenges and vistas of MBA and afterwards, the students of Asian Institute of Management and Science organised a day-long seminar on “challenges and vistas after MBA in North East” at its campus on October 16.
The sessions were divided into present job scenario and challenges faced by youth in north east India. The importance of soft skills, communication skills and interview skills through which student can excel in any of the interview was also at the centre of focus.
Ranjan K Baruah, social entrepreneur cum youth activist spoke on the challenges of the youth and discussed the challenges faced by youth in the region. He appealed to the students to become entrepreneurs by exploring opportunities in the north east and lead the society for social change.
Rishi Raj Borthakur spoke on the importance of soft skills and other interview skills. It was organised as part of SMART managers’ programme of AIMT. Akash Pratim Hazarika took the initiative as the group leader who conducted the programme.
