Aircel to bring Apple iPhone 4S in India soon
Apple fans, get ready to bring iPhone 4S in your home, as Aircel is all set to bring iPhone 4S in India. As per reports, the phone will hit the Indian market on November 25 with more than 200 new features compared to the previous one.
THE MUCH-awaited Apple's iPhone 4S, which was launched at Apple's headquarters in Cupertino California on October 4, a day before the death of former Apple CEO Steve Jobs, is likely to land in the Indian smartphone market, reportedly by November 25, though the exact is yet to be confirmed.
One of the leading mobile carriesr of the country, Aircel, is bringing iPhone 4S to the Indian market. Aircel has announced these plans on its official Facebook page. "Aircel brings iPhone 4S to India". However company has not yet confirmed the release date in the country. Aircel has written on Facebook - "launch details coming soon!” Aircel is one of the carriers who sold the Apple iPhone 4 in the country.
After launched on October 4, iPhone 4S became available at the Apple retail stores from Friday, October 14 in seven countries. Presently, iPhone 4S is already accessible in around 28 countries. After the pre-order accepted from October 7, the Apple iPhone 4S created a record as pre-orders crossed one million in a single day.
The Apple iPhone 4S features include the dual-core A5 chip, 8MP camera with autofocus, LED flash, Retina display, which is the highest-resolution phone screen ever, outstanding battery life and about 200 new features from the previous iPhone 4. The phone supports both GSM and CDMA networks, and is available in two colours - White and Black.
According to the BGR India, iPhone 4S will start selling at a price close to Rs 40,000 for the 16GB variant, and will cost Rs 50,000 for the top-end 64GB model. Earlier, Airtel and Aircel launched the iPhone 4 in India in 16GB and 32GB at the price tag of Rs 34,500 and Rs 40,900, respectively.
