AISF wants PCS exams to be postponed due to martyrs' day celebrations
The All India Sikh Students Federation (AISF) condemned the attitude of the Punjab Government in fixing the PCS exams on March 23, which is the martyr’s day celebrations of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev. It seems that the Punjab Government is concerned with decorating its own cabinet, but when it comes to doing something for the great patriots, who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of India, they are not respectful enough.

When the entire nation will be paying tributes to the martyrs, the youths – future of India will be appearing in their PCS exams who otherwise need to be involved in the historical events to keep alive the martyrs and fulfill their dreams in free India.

Paramjit Dhaban, former President, AISF and Charanjit Shanga Rai, State Senior Vice President, Sarb Bharat Naujawan Sabha condemning the dictatorial attitude of the Punjab Government in strong words, demanded the postponement of PCS exams.

While talking to media persons on the third day of week-long martyr’s day celebrations at Ferozepur organized by Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev Memorial Society, Paramjit Dhaban said that it would have been appropriate for the Punjab Government to have involved the youths on the martyr’s day celebrations to motivate them to follow on their paths, but fixing the exams on this day is an injustice and insult to the martyrs.  The youths will be deprived of participating in paying tributes to the martyrs on this day.

The youth leaders have demanded the Punjab Government to postpone the PCS exams so that they too could pay tributes to the martyrs. On this occasion, Aman Dharmuwala, District Council Member, Rozgar Prapti Muhim and Bhagwn Dass Bahadarke, were also present on the occasion.
