Aishwarya Rai is all set to return to Bollywood with filmmaker Mani Ratnam's adaptation of a Japanese novel. She would be playing the role of young and newly-wed wife in the movie, the shooting of which is scheduled for next year.
IT IS a good news for fans who were waiting with a bated breath for Aish to make a Bollywood comeback after staying away for almost a year. There can't be a better way than returning to Bollywood with award-winning filmmaker
Mani Ratnam, who is credited with launching Aishwarya in south Indian film industry with 'Iruvar'.
Aish and Ratnam carry a good relationship and she has worked with him for movies like Guru and Ravan along with her hubby. Whenever Ratnam has offered Aish a role or a script, she always respected it. The film, according to ANI is an adaptation of a 1938 Japanese novel Rebecca and Aish will play the lead role of Mrs. De Winter.
The movie revolves around a newly married woman, who is always compared to the first wife of her husband named Rebecca by the housekeeper. And during this process she realizes that her husband was never in love before and she also comes to know about many more hidden truths about him. Ratnam is writing his script by giving it an Indian touch.
Since Aish plays the role of a newly-wed girl, she has to work hard to fit in her role. The shooting of the movie is scheduled to begin next year, so Aish has sufficient time to return to her ravishing shape.
Well Aish who is enjoying her motherhood with her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan may face a tough competition in the industry, we hope her second innings in Bollywood turns out to be as happening as her personal life.
