ANYONE CONNECTED with David Driham alias Dudu - police drug dealers nexus case will be subjected to investigation and even Dudu’s sister Ayala Driham will be questioned by the Special Investigation Team, constituted under Superintendent of Police Omprakash Kurtarkar, a top Goa police official has said.
Superintendent of police Atmaram Deshpande said that all aspects of the police - drug mafia nexus case and even Ayala and Zareena Mazhrunova, who have been seen partying with other drug dealers would be subjected to inquiry by the SIT, whhich has taken over the case from the crime branch.
Superintendent Deshpande said that it was quite possible the SIT might have already got in touch with former ANC chief Veenu Bansal, who is an IPS official.Superintendent Deshpande also informed that the court was aware that the Panch, who was a witness in the Dudu’s case was being threatened and therefore the investigating officer and the crime branch would definitely give all the necessary security and protection to the witness concerned.Dudu’s sister Ayala Driham carried out a sting operation showing PSI Sunil Gudlar allegedly peddling drugs. Ayala has also named an IPS officer in the case.Goa police-drug dealers nexus case has rocked the coastal state of Goa. The fallout was the arrest of 6 policemen, including PI Ashish Shirodkar and now PSI Sunil Gudlar. The name of an IPS officer has also cropped up in the case.
