All India Students Federation announces struggle to save Govt. College for Girls, Jalalabad
The students of Govt. College for Girls at Jalalabad (West)– the constituency of Sukhbir Singh Badal, Deputy Chief Minister- despite start of its functioning during the last year could not get the recognition from Punjab University, have to appear as private student – have announced its ‘bugle of struggle’ under the banner of All India Students Federation (AISF).
Today, in a meeting held under the leadership of Luvpreet Kaur, Senior Vice President of the organization and Sandeep Jodha, District Council Member, announced a ‘bugle of struggle’ till the recognition by the University to the college  by the government.

Giving information of the decisions taken in the meeting, AISF former National President, Paramjit Singh Dhaban and Senior Vice President, Luvpreet Kaur said, the effigies of Deputy Chief Minister, Education Minister and Vice Chancellor, will be burned on June 9. Giving a warning, they said, till such time the college starts functioning on getting the formal recognition from the Punjab University, the government will be exposed of its cheating with the girls’ students - who are called as ‘Nanhi Chhaan’ – in every corner of the area. 

Sukhdev Dharmuwala, State Vice Secretary, AISF and Akash Jalalabad, District Vice Secretary said, the people of Jalalabad will not tolerate the cheating with the ‘Nanhi Chhaan’ at any cost. Making an appeal to all the social service organizations –NGOs – come forward for this noble cause by joining hands with their support to AISF.

On this occasion, apart from others, Sandeep Jalalabadi, Aman Dharmuwala, Sandeep Hazara, Asha Rani Dhaban, Harpreet Jaimal Wala,Gurpreet Kaur, Prince Dhaban, Rajpal Singh, Karnail Singh Ke, Manjit Singh Katian, Harjinder Sngh, Gurdev Tare Wala, Sunit Rani, Saroj Rani, Anita Rani, Kulwinder Kaur, were also present.
