There is a very big difference between an idea and the outcome. No doubt, "3 idiots" is a very very watchable movie. Personally I liked it a lot. There is in fact lot of differences between a book and a movie. The cam from Bhagat's book. It was a fantastic idea. But to make the movie a success and acceptable needs lot more work to do on the part of the producer and the director rather than just praising the author of the book which gave them the idea.

its true almost 45 percent of the novel "5 point someone" covers this movie...but still the rest 55 percent is entirely a new concept
