Some of the famous personalities that were spotted at the venue included prime minister Manmohan Singh's wife, Gursharan Kaur, BJP leader Arun Jaitley, Left politician Sitaram Yechury and Union minister for renewable resources Farooq Abdullah, just to name a few. Cricketer such as Bishan Singh Bedi, Kapil Dev were also present in the function.

Saif's mother Sharmila Tagore while talking to the reporters about the wedding said in this nnis video, “It is nothing special.
