Thanks to the tie up between Amar Chitra Katha and iRemedi’s Ether Media, one can read the Amar Chitra Katha’s famous titles on the iPhone platform worldwide. Presently around 17 illustrated artwork of Indian mythology, epics, history and fables in the form of digital comics are available in a form of digital comic for $1.99 by Apple iTunes. Tales of Saibaba is available for free preview.The other titles include Krishna, Buddha, The Gita, Ashoka, Shakuntala, Mirabai, Karna, Bheeshma and Panchantantra Tales among others.

Anyone possessing an iPhone or iPod Touch can read the digital comic any time. The digital comic offers panel by panel view, tracks page numbers and also has a slider for fast page navigation. The comics can be read in the slide show format with specific time settings and can be stopped or continued anytime the user wishes. Last but not the least the digital comic application also remembers the last read page, if not closed properly.
