Amarnath Yatra: Shri Ram Sena slams J&K Govt for introducing new token system
Flaying State Government for introducing new token system for registration in Jammu, State President, Shri Ram Sena, Rajiv Mahajan said that this step of government is only for harassing Amaranth pilgrims by one way to other.
Talking to reporters here today, Rajiv Mahajan said that this is first time under BJP regime in the Centre and State such a system was introduced, which is against the hassle free spot registration facility for the pilgrims.

He said that tokens would be provided to the pilgrims at Sangam Banquet Hall near Jammu Railway Station along with registration form, medical form, information brochure and instruction manual while for further registration they visit to registration counters at Vaishnavi Dham and Sarasvati Dham at Railway Station and Mahajan Sabha Community Hall near Ranbireshwar Temple at Shalamar road.

At the registration counters they are facing lots of harassment, he said while adding that the pilgrims staying at various community halls and Sabhas suffer a lot due to non-availability of proper electricity and water supply.

He said that administration also asked pilgrims to leave for pilgrimage after three days of registration adding that such move of administration is intended only for annoying pilgrims.

He said just like previous years the on the spot registration with medical checkup will be provided to pilgrims at Haat near Exhibition Ground so that pilgrimage will be taken out smoothly without harassing pilgrims.

He also asked district administration to ensure 24 hours power supply, water supply, cleanliness, security and sanitation at the places of stay of the Yatris.
