Ameena censures father, threatens self immolation
Expressing dissatisfaction over the manner in which police was inquiring the case, she said that only CBI could bring the truth to light adding that she wanted the culprits to be brought to justice and given exemplary punishment.
Setting a brave example, Anchal alias Ameena, whose husband was allegedly killed in police custody has blasted the police department as well as government for sheltering the killers of her husband. Speaking with the media persons, Ameena while rejecting the compensation as well as job offered by the government, threatened self immolation, if the killers of her husband Rajnish were not booked within three days.
 
The widow of Rajnish, who was allegedly killed in police custody early last week, has threatened to commit self immolation, if government will not concede to the demand of family of handing over the case to Central Bureau of Investigation and book those involved in the killing.
 
Anchal Sharma, alias Ameena describing her husband a victim of conspiracy hatched by her parents and police said that she want the culprits behind the bars. She said in case the government would not concede to the demand of handing over the case to apex investigating agency, she would take the extreme step of committing self immolation.
 
Accusing her father and brother of hatching a conspiracy to eliminate Rajneesh, Anchal demanded death penalty for both her father and brother, who according to her paid handsome amount to Kashmir as well as Bakshi Nagar police for eliminating her husband.
 
She said that when law allowed us to marry each other and we were legally husband and wife, why the police arrested my husband without confirming the facts. Terming it as Gundaraj of police, she urged upon the chief minister to bring her justice by punishing the culprits involved in the brutal killing of her husband.
 
She said that despite knowing that we both were legally married Kashmir police in collaboration with Jammu police in a planned manner picked up my husband to end his life. 
 
Expressing dissatisfaction over the way police was inquiring the case, she said that only CBI could bring the truth to light adding that she want know how and by whom her husband was killed.
 
She called for the intervention of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in the matter and said that she wants nothing less than inquiry by the CBI.
 
The brother of the victim Rajnish, Pawan Kumar who accompanied Anchal on the occasion rejected the government offer of employment to one member of the family and compensation by the government and said that nothing on this earth could compensate the killing of his brother.
