FOURTH NOVEMBER 2008 is the election day in America and perhaps history will be made on this day as a black candidate is most likely to become the president of USA. Barack Obama  needs the support of the people from all over the country. ’Yes we can’ and ’We need change’, these are the slogans of the Democratic party. Let us give one great opportunity to them to show their ability. They can also handle authority.

Obama was born in 1934. He is a writer, actor, teacher, theater director/producer and activist. He was honoured as the poet laureate of New Jersey but in 2003 the title was abolished by the Governor James McGreevey.

Here is some of the progressive agenda of Obama:

End Iraq war, cancel preparations for Iran war. World needs peace, we can not get anything by the war, we have to lose so much things in the war and only war is not solution of any problem.

Make racism a criminal offense.

People should never be identified by their cast, religion or color but they should be identified by their work, intelligence and knowledge.

Begin to push for change in US political culture, end electoral collage and winner takes all system, ban private money from elections, abolition of senate unicameral house of representatives, mandatory voting.

Review and reform of national debt.

Begin legal work on reparations.

General investigation and review of criminal justice system.

Appointment of progressive supreme court (and other) judges.

Review diplomatic relations with all nations by national panel with recommendations for progressive standards.
