Top singer Jennifer Lopez fell on stage mid-way during her performance at the American Music Awards after she took a tumble while singing Louboutins. Popularly known as J Lo, the singer had climbed on the back of a dancer and as she jumped off, she slipped and could not land properly.

J Lo however did not lose her composure but she recovered quickly and completed the act. She however was seen unhappy with the incident and looked a bit disappointed while she left the stage.

J Lo performed the song dressed like prizefighter and her performance was inspired by a boxing match. Her spokesman later said that she was fine and was not injured in the fall.

Another star to fall on stage during the American Music award was Adam Lambert, who also slipped mid-way during his routine. Adam Lambert’s performance, however, came under criticism for being too explicit and graphic for primetime audience.

Other top performers at AMA awards were Rihanna, Lady GaGa and Whitney Houston. Late Michael Jackson received four awards posthumously while Taylor Swift won the maximum number of five trophies.
