QUESTION: WHAT is the difference between old age and new age media?
Answer: Earlier when
India become independent, the percentage of illiteracy was
very high. Most of the people living in villages were not able to read and write. In
those times only newspapers were the means of getting information around the world.
But since most of the people were illiterate at that time so they were not able to
read newspapers. Due to this, they remained unaware of what is happening in their
country and other parts of world. With the advancement in the Indian media, new sources of information have come. Nowadays they are more than hundreds of news channels through which we can get information about what is happening in their country or anywhere else around the clock. They are the fastest medium to get news at any time and at any place.
Question: In spite of giving news, what role are news channels and other part of
media playing in our daily lives?
Answer: As we all know that after independence, the rate of literacy was very
low as compared with today. Due to illiteracy most of the people were unaware of
their rights. But today most of the people know their fundamental rights and their
democracy.

Question: What is your sense on sting operations? Are they good for society?
Answer: To be very frank, yes they are beneficial for society but they must be
in their proper limits.
Question: What kind of limits?
Answer: I mean to say that, as we all know that in recent few days some of the
sting operations were found to be fake. News channels must understand their
responsibility to the society before doing something wrong.
