We talked to Dinesh Mohania in a bid to know what are his future plans now after becoming an MLA. Here's the excerpts from the interview:

Q: How will you define your victory in assembly polls?

Dinesh Mohania (DM): Well I can say that it's a comman people's victory. They are tired of dirty politics by some of the national parties and wanted a change.

Q: How you came into politics and why only AAP and not any other political party?

DM: Well, when Anna Movement started I whole heartedly jumped into that and took active participation in the movement and that is when I came into contact with Arvind kejriwal and Anna Hazare. I liked the issues they were fighting for and when AAP was formed I decided to join it. I joined AAP because I think that Congress and BJP have no plans for the country and only do politics for seats and not for people's cause. But I have no such aim in my life.

Q: So if you are so much impressed with them, then can it be said that they are your role models. Or do you have any other role model in life?

DM: Yes, Anna Hazare and Arvind kejriwal are my role models right now. I am really impressed  with their ideology. They have become voice of common people. Yes, I am impressed with them.

Q:  How did you get the required funding to contest the elections? I mean how did you arrange finance for campaigning and other expenses?

DM: Well most of the funding came from party fund. We also urged people to donate us Rs 10 against receipt. And we never take donations from outside or from any NGO or any organization.

Q: What are your ambitions in life? Any particular aim that you would like to share with us.

DM: I am not an ambitious person. I think youths want to change the society and change the perception of people about the politics, and for that AAP is a good platform. Country's youths who think that they want to work for the country's welfare should join AAP.

Q: So now you are an MLA, what are your future plans?

DM: We will continue our fight against corruption, continue to raise our voice against the injustice that has been done to the people. And as opposition we will continue to struggle for the issues that we are raising from very start and try to do an effective politics.
