An year after 26/11 : Nothing has changed
This country's past has made it incredible and the present is also making it incredible. The report of Liberhan Commission, the trial of Kasab and the Sukhoi ride by our Honorable President of the present India, are few of them to mention.
WE OBSERVED one year of 26/11 and the entire country was busy in paying tributes to the brave hearts and the innocent people who died in that bloody incident and all most all the news channels, print media were busy in communicating these to the people. But we did not express our shamelessness as till date our law is unable to decide the case. And more interestingly, from one regional news channel I came to know that Maharashtra Government has already spent 31 crore for Kasab’s custody, food etc. Businessmen have started doing business in the name of Kasab also; one movie is on the floor now.

And I am searching where the Maharashtra Manus parties have gone and why they are not opening their mouth. They used to say that they are fighting for the cause of the “Maratha Manus” and for me these 31 crore is not a joke, this is the money of the Indian people and it needs to be used for people’s benefit. The incident which shook the country and more particularly one Chief Minister, One Home minister of the Central Government and resulted in the death of a Chief of ATS, one IPS officer and so many other people has not put any pressure on this country’s judicial system and law.

It's quite essential to mention here that it took 17 years for the Liberhan Commission to find out who are the culprits of the demolition of Babri Masjid. This country’s law permits a maximum of 14 years imprisonment for severe crimes and this useless commission took 17 years to identify the culprits!

The other day I saw an interesting news on Television, our President Mrs Patil became the first lady to fly in a Sukhoi flight. Two other flights were used for additional protection and cordon in the sky. I am wondering what the country got out of this and what promoted her to fly? I think the most significant thing which might have promoted her may be the past flying made by our former President Dr Kalam and Home Minister Fernandes.
