Analyse your candidate thoroughly before voting him
This time we feel that the elections should be different to earlier occasions. The increase in the eligible voters is a good sign and evidence is increased youth participation. We wish that the same enthusiasm should continue to select proper candidate for better governance.

We suggest that the contestants should be subjected to questioning personally or through various media in respect of their earlier promises and the extent to which they have been fulfilled. Especially the youth should question them the sources of their properties. Whether they have built up the declared properties from the known sources of income should be verified.

Similarly the facts of the criminal cases against them are asked to be made public. The candidates should be asked to give statement as to the nature of these criminal cases, and the circumstances leading to their involvement. The entire electorate this time should endeavour to elect a clean candidate with history of good service to the society in the past. No matter if he is a fresher in the politics. Only such people will be able to serve the people in future.

The students and the youths should work in this direction to elect a right candidate, otherwise the future of the States and the country would be in the hands unscrupulous persons working only to amass wealth and loot public money. The contestants with criminal back ground should not be considered for voting. Let people not fall prey for temporary benefits for voting and suffer rest of five years.
