The CM was doing an Arvind Kejriwal at Jantar Mantar, but the only difference was that he was protesting against his own government. Reddy brought his protest to Delhi on the day when the extended winter session of Parliament started amidst the central government's keenness to get the Telangana bill passed. State ministers and MLA's from Seemandhra region were also present in the dharna.
Many Andhraiites from the Delhi-NCR region were also seen at the protest. When asked them about the bifurcation Mr. Pavan Kumar, an employee working with a private organization in Gurgaon said, “Protests has become a main tool nowadays. Telangana is almost done. Our leaders (from Seemandhra) kept quite from the beginning, after everything is done they are simply making the layman, a fool. Most of our leaders also know that the state will get separated. But it is a part of the Congress action plan.”
