There is an open revolt by the Andhra Pradesh MLAs opposing the decision of carving out a separate Telengana state. After the resignation of about 100 MLAs from the state assembly, chief minister K Rosaiah had to admit that no decision will be taken in haste.

Union minister M Pallam Raju said that it is likely that the government will have to take a relook on the entire issue as lot of differences have emerged. Resignations by a number MPs and MLAs has forced the UPA government as well as the Andhra Pradesh government to rethink the formulation of Telengana as per the demand of Telengana Rashtriya Samit.
