Andhra MPs and MLAs crying over Telangana issue
The timely decision of K Chandrasekhara Rao, to go for the fast unto death in absence of YSR, was for nothing else but to retake faith of people and provocation. He just wanted a call from UPA government or Sonia Gandhi to call off hunger strike.
BARRING A few politicians in India, the rest have no individual identity, dignity and decorum. This holds true in the case of Andhra Pradesh. All party legislators and parliament members are now crying that they were against the decision of separate Telangana. Why didn't they say so earlier? If they were so disinclined for the move, as they appear to be showing now, they could have launched an agitation then against Telangana supporters.
Going by records the Congress party in Andhra Pradesh had earlier resolved a single line resolution that they would be abide by the decision of Sonia Gandhi with regard to Telangana separate state. Chandrababu Naidu had announced that his party MLAs were in the forefront to support the Telangana resolution if it was introduced in the Assembly. The inexperienced Chiranjeevi, head of PRP disclosed his party stand that they would ready to sustain the stands of others.
When all these leaders announced their pronouncements a single legislator of their respective parties could not conflict with bosses.
The Congress party high command had almost come to a decision to separate Telangana from Andhra soon after the tragic death of YS Rajasekhara Reddy. Even though there was a big pressure from people and legislators for YS Jaganmohan Reddy, the Congress high command strongly thought Rosaiah could be better. Then also no legislator opposed the move.
Now the Congress high command is persuading MPs and MLs to honour her decision. Everybody had thought that Hyderabad would be announced as union territory, but it could not be done. The Andhra and Rayalaseema legislators, MPs were hurt and people aspirations were deceived. It would be a matter of minutes if Hyderabad was announced as union terrirory.

There is no need to concede to such a demand. Pranab Mukharjee who is looking after the Telangana issue could not take much lead in this as he knew that he also has the same problem of Gorkhaland in West Bengal.
Whatever happened and whoever did it, it's the responsibility of political parties to abide by their high command decisions and honour the Telangana people first and go for the repair the damage later. If not Andhra and Rayalaseema has to sort out the issue and also think how to rebuild the state.
