Andhra to see emergence of two new parties: Testing times for Kiran Kumar Reddy and Pawan Kalyan
With general elections around the corner, and election schedule too in place, politics in Andhra Pradesh is getting new flavour with some never-seen-before changes. Two new parties are probably going to emerge, one by Kiran Kumar Reddy and another one by film actor Pawan Kalyan. Both the parties are planning to come into existence on the same day, that is March 12.

The common aspect between both the leaders is that both are targeting the youngsters in Andhra Pradesh. Kiran who is going to announce his political party on 12th March at a public meeting in Rajahmundry, and is aiming to get into the top with student power.

On the other side Pawan is going to make his political debut on 9 March in front of the media, and is going to make a full-fledged announcement on 12th March and will be backed by his immense youngster fan base.

Two prominent personalities in the state are launching their political outfits at the same time. While the agenda of Kiran Kumar Reddy is to 'Safeguard the respect and pride of Telugus', Pawan Kalyan is trying to bring a 'change in political system'.

Coming to the support these two parties are having. Pawan has a humongous fan base, yet they are having divided opinions on Pawan's political entry. And Chiru's fans will also add to it. Whereas Kiran, has also made a set of fan following by openly revolting against his command and supporting the united Andhra concept.

Especially the NGOs, majority of government employees, students and youth are in favour of Kiran. Another thing which adds to him is his educational background, which makes him a perfect new generation political leader.

The major issue with Pawan is lack of political knowledge, whereas Kiran has a vast political experience and knows about ground realities, poll booth politics etc. And many senior leaders are like Lagadapati Rajagopal, Undavalli Arun Kumar, Rayapati Samba Siva Rao, Harsha Kumar and many others are behind him.

Coming to Kiran's drawbacks, caste factor seems to be one major issue. While a large section of Reddys are supporting Jagan Mohan Reddy, and the other major caste that is 'Kapus' will be supporting Pawan, there is very little scope for Kiran.

With the two new parties emerging in Andhra, the political battle is going to be multi-cornered in Andhra Pradesh and the parties in competition will be Chandra Babu Naidu's Telugu Desam Party, Jagan's YSRCP, Kiran's party and Pawan's party. Its now time to see which leader is going to attract the people of Andhra.
