FORMER GRAND slam Champion, Andy Roddick has reached the semi finals of Winston Salem Open at North Carolina, USA. He defeated an Argentinean player, Juan Monaco 6-1 6-4. The match lasted for around 1 hour and 6 minutes. Roddick would be playing John Isner in the semi-finals of the competition. John Isner won his quarter final match against Marcos Baghdatis where the score read 1-6, 6-3, 6-4.
Andy Roddick has looked in good form throughout the tournament. As usual, he came up with a good service game, hence won his quarter final match with several aces.
Both the players who are from America, are very eager to get the better our of one another in their semi finals clash , as it would give them the much needed confidence ahead of the US open, which is slated to start next week. One interesting thing to witness about their game would be their service, which both the players pride themselves upon. Isner has also said that it would not be an easy outing against Andy during their semi-finals clash.
