Shemaroo Entertainment introduces its second animated film, ‘Ghatothkach’, to be premiered at the Cannes film festival. It will be screened in English and six other Indian regional languages like Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Bengali.
The story is about Ghatothkach, the son of Pandava legend, Bheem, lovingly called ‘Ghattu,’ explores his magical adventure, with an interesting mix of magic, action, romance, comedy, fantasy and with foot-tapping songs.
After Bal Ganesha, this is Shemaroo Entertainment’s second animated film. It is a 100-minute film that will be released in seven languages, the company said.
To produce a top quality animation film, the company has hired top talents from across the
world including India, US, Philippines and Canada. A co-production between Shemaroo
Entertainment and Sun Animatics, the film is directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao, who has earlier directed internationally acclaimed films like Pushpak, Appu Raja and Son of Alladin, amongst many.
The film is made in both 2D and 3D formats and will be released in seven languages – English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Bengali.
